You’d think by now I’d know better than to sit between Brittany and Blake when food is involved. Yet there I was, smack in the middle of the dessert drama of the century. 🍰🍦
Brittany, sweet as pie (pun intended 😉), carefully chose her dessert—a heavenly slice of pie à la mode that practically sparkled under the lights. Blake, on the other hand, decided to wing it, assuming his sister would graciously share a bite. Big mistake. HUGE. 😬
The moment Blake leaned in with that hopeful glint in his eyes, Brittany’s face transformed into an iron fortress. “NOPE,” she declared with the authority of a queen guarding her throne. 👑🍴
And Blake? Oh, sweet, dramatic Blake. He didn’t just pout. No, this kid put on an Oscar-worthy performance that would’ve made Leonardo DiCaprio take notes. 🎭 The furrowed brows, the deep sighs, the hands dramatically thrown in the air as if to say, “How could you betray me like this, dear sister?” It was Shakespearean. 🤦♂️💔
Meanwhile, Brittany savored each bite like it was the last dessert on Earth, throwing sly little side glances at her brother, who was now fake fainting into the booth with the weight of his distress. 🤤💀
“Brittany, can I just have one bite?” Blake pleaded, eyes wide, voice trembling. 🥺“Sorry, I don’t share,” she said, deadpan, without even pausing her fork. It was savage. Ruthless. Iconic. 👏🔥
I tried to mediate, offering Blake some of my dessert (which was way less exciting, to be honest 🙄), but it wasn’t the same. He wanted her pie. He needed her ice cream. 🍦
By the time Brittany finished, Blake had moved through the five stages of grief—ending in acceptance, which looked a lot like a dramatic sigh and the muttered phrase, “You’re so mean.” 😔 Brittany? She simply wiped her mouth, shrugged, and said, “It was delicious.” 😌
Sibling love, ladies and gentlemen. Equal parts heartwarming and totally ridiculous. 💕 And yes, I’ve already booked a therapy session for Blake to process the trauma of this dessert betrayal. 😜
